  • Wear shoes which you do not mind getting dirty and wet (while crossing river)
  • We discourage the wearing of flip-flops. Open sandals or sneakers are suitable
  • Wear sunscreen. You may also wish to pack bug repellent for the hike into the jungle
  • You may wish to bring a bathing suit to wear under you Karen Clothes to swim in the waterfall
  • Tip: Be patient with the elephants, respect their space, and follow your guide’s instructions. No direct interaction is permitted for the best experience.

  • Imagine observing our Mahouts hand-feeding these majestic creatures. Get your camera. This program is Compliant with all International Animal welfare policies.  This is a must-do bucket item. 
  • We start by preparing the elephant’s feast. Get ready to chop up some sugar cane and prepare the bananas. We will teach you how to do this the same way the Mahouts do it.
  • Let the fun begin as you take the food you prepared and hand off to your Mahout and observe the Mahout feeding the elephants. If your Mahout says Bon-Bon to the elephants, watch them open wide for their treats.
  • While you’re preparing the food our guides will give you the background of our rescued elephants. Our guide will assist in taking photos and videos.
