Elephant Retreat is located in Chiang Mai, in the district of Mai Win, one hour outside of Chiang Mai City. We provide a unique setting for guests to observe our Mahouts interact with our elephants in their natural habitat. We are 100% compliant with animal welfare portion policies based on international standards. Join us on our mission to rescue and save elephants from abused backgrounds, providing them with medical care, nutrition, and space to roam freely.

Presented by Elephant Freedom Project Co, LTD., a top-rated elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai. Our Elephant Nature Park is called the Jurassic Park of Thailand. It is set deep in the mountains in Chiang Mai, far from civilization yet one hour from Chiang Mai City.

Our sanctuary offers the opportunity to see the daily lives of the mahouts and elephants. There are no chains, Hooks, Riding, or Touching of the elephants.
